Interesting news from the subcontinent: French nuclear power station builder AREVA and Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) have signed agreements for the construction of two EPR reactors (the first of a series of 6) at Jaitapur in the western state of Maharashtra, and for the supply of fuel for 25 years.
